It is with great honor that we inform you that, His Excellency, the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, granted his High Sponsorship to the 3rd edition of the International Conference on Risks, Security and Citizenship (ICRSC), which will take place next month April, between the 17th and 18th, at the Luísa Todi Municipal Fórum, in Setúbal.

This High Sponsorship recognizes the value of ICRSC as a reference event in the sharing of knowledge and in the application of methodologies with a view to reducing the Risk of catastrophes, safeguarding the Security of Citizens, and promoting Citizenship in the communities where they operate.

Since the first edition, the Presidency of the Portuguese Republic has granted its High Sponsorship to ICRSC, meaning the recognition of the scientific excellence of this event and the appreciation in the reflection on the issue of Risks, Security and Citizenship in the context of the implementation of the Framework of Sendai Action 2015-2030 at the local level, consistent with the three pillars of the international agenda: International Strategy for Disaster Reduction, Sustainable Development Goals and Action Plan for Climate Change.
